http headers in all functions

it is useful to have access to http headers to check ip or some custom headers from client like version or agent. currently there is no way to do it

It possible to get the client IP and User-Agent in mutations and actions using ctx.meta.requestMetadata():

const { ip, userAgent, requestId } = await ctx.meta.getRequestMetadata();

Upgrade to the latest version of the convex NPM package for this change. Request headers are available in HTTP actions. Support for accessing other headers in all function types is not planned.
